The Haytor Hotel Torquay is an elegant and welcoming Victorian villa built in 1835. Offering delicious breakfasts, a peaceful night’s sleep and set within beautiful gardens, we are just a 4 minute walk to central Torquay, the harbour and the award-winning Meadfoot Beach.
Our Rooms
Our Suites are located on the Ground, First and Second floors and have been created by reconfiguring the original layout in each case combining two rooms into one, resulting in a generous room with seating area. With kingsize beds, Bath robes, seating area, extra large TV/DVDs, minibars and en-suite walk in showers these are our very best rooms furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard.
This hotel is the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. From the moment you pull up into the driveway you can see just how gorgeous it is. The owners John and Jane are the most friendliest lovely accommodating couple you will ever meet and nothing is to much trouble for them. Rooms are spotless and decorated to a very high class. Breakfast is beautifully presented and cooked to perfection.
