Haytor Hotel is the 1st Hotel to gain Living Wage Accreditation

In September 2014 the HAYTOR HOTEL became the first hotel in the UK to be accredited by the Living Wage Foundation as a Living Wage employer and is still one of only three UK Hotels making this public commitment.
The Living Wage is set independently, calculated according to the basic cost of living using a standard set, through social consensus, by the public.
The Living Wage Foundation Living Wage is not to be confused with the "National Living Wage"  as a replacement for the National Minimum Wage.  The Living Wage Foundation Wage is independent and exceeds the Govt version significantly and is designed to ensure all employees are fairly rewrded for their work.
The Haytor Hotel is proud to lead the way, to demonstrate our commitment to ending in-work poverty, and to encourage others in Devon and the wider Hospitality industry to reward staff fairly.
